HI ALL CAN ANYONE HELP, THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I LOCK/UNLOCK THE CAR THE INDICATORS DONT FLASH AND I HAVE TO HOLD THE FOB REALY CLOSE TO THE CAR AND LISTEN FOR A FAINT CLONK IN THE DOOR TO SEE IF IT LOCKS THE L E D IN THE REAR WINDOW FLASHES FAST I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS NORMAL IF NOT CAN ANYONE POINT ME TO THE FAULT
IM USED TO MY OLD CHIM WHERE I COULD LOCK THE DOORS FROM ANOTHER COUNTY AND THE INDICATORS WOULD FLASH AND A CLONK THAT WOULD WAKE THE DEAD ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!

You should get 1 long flash for unlock, 2 flashes for lock.

3 or 4 flashes mean a fault. All this is described in the handbook if I remember.

Rear LED flashes fast for a while then slows if I remember correctly, I could be wrong on that though.

POSIBBLY THE BATTERY IN THE KEY FOB IS NEAR DEAD?

ive replaced the fob batterys but still the same, is the locking ecu behind the rear seats under the window as i think maybe thats a good place to start ?

Mine has always flsahed 4 times when locking.

I think this is normal.

I thought that to Marcus until I read the hand book and saw some other cars. 4 suggests a fault with one of the sensors I think and then the fast flashing rear screen LED tells you which one.
