Got inspired by another thread but on a whole different track.

What are the BEST supercars/hypercars we have in Scotland?

Please don't post full registration plates in your posts.

The ones I could come up with off the top of my head...

Bugatti Veyron - North East - ** B
Koenigsegg CC8s (Purple) - Central Belt - ** KO
Pagani Zonda C12s 7.3 (Silver) - North East - * GJ
Jaguar XJ220 (Silver) - North East - Unregistered
Ferrari Enzo (Black?) - Central Belt - Unknown
TVR Typhon (Unknown) - North East - *** HON
Ferrari F40 (Red) - Central belt - Unknown

I think for a wee country we are doing pretty well!

Any missing?

The Konigsegg and the Zonda that were ex-Rio are now both up for sale in Edinburgh.

Konigsegg is quite cheap actually, i wonder if the numberplates are coming with the pair of them?

ETA - I know of an F40 and a 250 Lusso in a private collection near Edinburgh and an F50 that lives very close to the city center in Edinburgh.

There were rumours of another Zonda in Scotland, but I was chatting to Mr.P at Goodwood and he was unaware of another Zonda in Scotland.

I was in a place housing 2 F40's the other day, and also a protype Jag race car. All the really good stuff seems to be hidden in secret bunkers.

I saw an F40 a couple of times around Fort Augustus a couple of months ago.

The Rio Zonda is for sale in England hence the lack of it on the list and I was in the Koenigsegg a wee while back at the dealersmile

I don't know about the number plates. I don't think they come with them though.

I know of an F40 in Edinburgh that I forgot to add. It is wrapped and hidden in a certain garage.

What colour are the F50 and 250 Lusso?

Hey Northo, what Zonda is that supposed to be? There was rumoured to be a black one in Glasgow a few years ago but nobody has ever heard of it.

Rumours of a black one are unfounded. The guys at Pagani are only aware of the two silver ones, and they keep a pretty close eye on their cars.

32P is being offered by the same dealer who has the Koenigsegg on his website.

Don't think so - someone had one in Aberdeenshire, but from what I've heard from a few places is that he fell out with McLaren over one of the bills. I have a feeling it's the one at DK Engineering at the moment, but not been told that by anyone.

The F50 and the 250 Lusso are both Rosso.

Owned by different people i may add.

The man that owns the F40 and the 250 Lusso also has an Alfa Romeo Tipo Targa Florio car in his collection too, amongst other things.

I could tell you where it is but i'd have to kill you. biggrin

I am pretty sure that the F1 on DK's websire belongs to a well-known PH'er down south. I am guessing that it was the car feautured on 5th Gear that was compared to an Enzo - both owned by the same guy.

Veyron has long gone now sir.

Couple more F40's tucked away too, central and Ayrshire.

West lothian farmer has an F50 in a barn that never turns a wheel...
