Advice Please

Hi Chaps,

My daughter has a Peugout 306 Td and it seems that a ball joint has gone on the nsf.

Now being the independant cow she is,and going against my advice, the last time this happened (about a month ago) on the osf the garage charged her £400.

Now i gave her a bking and the garage concerned as i thought they were extracting the pee.

Can anyone advise of a ball park figure for this type of repair as i have not got time to repair it for her.

1-2 hours labour + parts ((£30ish) + VAT, shouldn't be no more than £100-150 really IMO

We had the gators changed on the Passat by Mr Clutch and it was around £115 including parts - I reckon one ball joint should be about the same labour, although the parts may be a bit more expensive... And Mr Clutch do fixed price work so you know exactly how much it will cost before they start.

few weeks ago

Lower arm, bottom ball joint and bush fitted in new pads on fron £252,
i reckon the pads inc labour are about 65 of that so £185 max.
