oil capacity of T5 gearbox

can`t find my copy of the bible, so can anyone give me the oil capacity of the t5?

I`ve put 2 litres in it and not yet enough to come out of the filler hole.

The Beeble says 2.5 pints. The handbook says 1.4 litres. They concurr with each other.

can i just double check the t5 oil capacity. i have put 1.6 litres in (albeit on a slight foward slope) and there is no oil coming out of the filler hole yet. TIA Jes

It's about 2.5 litres for the gearbox (and 1.6 litres for the GKN diff).

Can anyone confirm the capacity of the older LT77 gearbox? TVR handbook says 1.4 litres.
