OOk, here goes

I'm currently sat at a music festival in basingstoke, I love my misses to bits, she is great, marrage has been discussed, we have days fun days out ect!

Its just I'm a bit more lively/socible than her, for example right now I'm at a festival, on the drink wanting to have a laugh, let my hair down, have a dance ect! But the misses has decided she is not too sure on the surrouindings so decided to stay sober/boring

This type of thing seems to be happening more and more often

What to do?

I'm 22 she is 22, she is a good girl, uni, never done anything illegal in her life, I'm not exactly a chavly hooligan but I like to have a laugh, go to amsterdam ect!

Like I said love her to bloody bits day to day its just on nights out, drinking occasions, she seems to go in her little shell and be sensible!

I'm posting on my mobile btw, its abba atm and I can't get to pissed/high because I feel out of order if the misses is being sensible

Of course you are mate, that's why you're posting on PH from a music festival.

You are your own man, can't live your whole life for her. That's a good call when she is with you, but when you have your own time be you own man. Give her number to the WhiteVanMan he will pester her all night on your behalf if needed.

Look mate. The fact your posting on a car forum while at a music festival means you have doubts.

Take a break and have a kit kat (she's at 245 weegstraas, Amsterdam wink)

IME it's always going to be tricky when the two of you have fundamental character differences and you're far too young to be thinking about settling down yet.

I had a girlfriend who sounds a bit like yours and she was an Irish catholic from a strict family to boot. In many ways she was great but as our relationship continued it became clear our aspirations were about a decade out of sync especially when it came to mortgages, settling down and becming grown up.

Consider your options carefully is my advice.

you utter wild man. amsterdam you say?
try stabbing her (gently at first), if she retreats into her shell and doesnt attempt to stab you back then she is just not zany enough for you and you are better off leaving her.

Sounds to me that what she's saying is that you don't make her feel safe..what to do? Grow some balls and look after your lady instead of whinging to an online community in what is a blatant attention seeking episode.

HTH.

Must be serious if you are talking about Marrage....what is that by the way?

I would say you were slightly wierd if your requesting the help of an internet site whilst out with your missus.

22? Oh dear.
Yes it will go downhill. I used to go out to gigs and clubs every weekend until slowly (I didn't realise at the time) the other half started sapping my soul away until I realised I hadn't been to a gig for years and had completely forgotton how to dance.
Fortunately after almost ten years it became apparant that she was a slag so the relationship was ended. Fast forward a year and a half and the woman I am now seeing (who is three years older than me, five older than the SWT) gets me dancing at the pub disco, then dancing in the club, then back to mine for a bit more dancing afterwards.
It's freakin' awesome! Never felt so alive!
Just remember: woman change, men don't. If you are finding differences in what you want to do now, I can only imagine they will increase as time goes on.

ps. I haven't remembered how to dance, but it doesn't stop me. party

If you want to pick people up on spelling at least learn how to spell weird first, and it's you're, not your.

You love her, yet wondering what to do as she is less anti-social than you? How about let herself be herself? We can't all be the 'life and soul of the party', (you can read that how you want, I like to think of them as annoying idiots). Stop being a pratt.

I think it's great that she doesn't feel the need to drink. Maybe she's scared if she gets drunk she'll lose control, not all of us want to be in that position. She's gone to the festival. We aren't all the same, this may well be a side of her character that you are not so in love with. You have to decide if you are ok with that. If not then maybe you're not meant to be. If it's a rare occurence is it really an issue?
