Banham 550

I keep seeing Skoda engined Banham 550 replicas for sale. Does anyone have any experience of these as I could be tempted to get one?

I think they look pretty cool. I don't have the James Dean hair for it anymore though! Of all of Banhams Creations, I think this is a good one. Not sure how dimensionally accurate it is, but I would. Not in Silver though, it would need some warpaint on it.

If you do your research into Banhams, you will find that owners/builders need to be very adaptable when it comes to construction - welding, altering things "so that they fit"

So if you are looking at a Banham, look very carefully, and very closely. And if you don't know what you are looking for, then as with a standard production car, take someone with you who does.
