Hi, I've got an old 1994 E35 525i (M50) that has barely put a foot wrong over the 10 years I've owned it. But, now it's parked up on the roadside with a fuel problem - no fuel getting to the engine. The pump seems to be working fine, the fuse is good, I've changed the fuel pump and DME relays so what I'm thinking is that the immobiliser is faulty and is cutting the power to the pump.

Any ideas hoe to remove/disable the immobiliser?

At that age its factory fitted, so you may encounter a few difficulties going round it

Thanks for the reply, but no worries, I've just found out it is actually the fuel pump. A couple of well aimed kicks to the underside of the tank and it started! Now, to decide whether I bother fitting a new pump or go for the scrappage scheme instead.
