White Audi R8 undercover cop car

... yes believe it or not spotted yesterday in Kenilworth buzzing about, Audi R8 in white with the usual hidden lights behind the grill and was pulling people over due to the gypo's in town.

Don't race this one .

I didn't see it personally, well I saw it when I was having a beer and it was doing laps of the town but my mate saw it in Christmas tree mode.

I got there at 8.30 and was there til midnight. The R8 did a couple of laps, must have been about 9.30 to 10.30 I'd have thought .

The almanack Been to sister restaurants The Swan @ Salford and Rose @ Warwick. Will have to take the missus

They didn't - the only possible way this is true is that it's a loaner from Audi. Even then I'm struggling - the Police Authority (committee) has to authorise the purchase so it would be pointless having a demo they couldn't possibly buy - Police Authorities are notoriously mean and hate the thought of their Police Officers racing around in flash cars.

I like the Rose in Warwick, the 'nak is a bit different but is very nice. Great on a Thurs night with half price on all champers! .
