can any one tell me why there seems to be hardly any cat c / d reg cars for sale..one on here as mentioned in other topic but cant see any for sale any where or are they just being bit naughty and not mentioning it till we ask !!! they must be out there or do jags xk8 not get involved in accidents??? having just said that i do see damaged repairables around but once repaired where do they go !!!! enlighten me please

As you say,people are not telling the truth or do not actually know that thair car was/is a cat d.
Only a hpi check will tell.Surprising how easy they become cat d`s...mine is and it only needed a new boot lid and rear bumper after being reversed into a post,and thats on a 2000 model!!

did u know yours was it does seem a shame theres such a negative feel about cat d or even c to me it seems to make a car a bargain as a bit cheaper.. and poss just as good or better even..

I knew mine was a cat d when i bought it.The guy selling it told me straight away.Didn`t worry me in the slightest as the car was mint and i was paying next to nothing for it (Xjr btw)
