Camping in the West Country
Discussion
Hi,
we're looking for a suitable campsite currently and would welcome any recommendations from fellow PH'ers...
Small, out of the way sites, preferably near a stretch of water with a homely feel rather than a vast, noisy, chav-ridden football and frisbee fest.
Somewhere to build a small campfire, take the classic car and with good local food and drink.
Anywhere spring to mind, guys ? Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset etc......or the New Forest.

Right next door to a lovely pub and with 2 others within a reasonable walking distance. Various ponds / streams close by as well.
