Are the standard exhaust cans fully sleeved from the factory?

I am looking at the new ACT versions which come with a fully sleeved fitment and a screw in noise reducer for track days and touring.

Anyone know?

Hello,

I was at the track with Graham on Friday and it looks like the version you are talking about need to be changed slightly as theydid not work as hoped by Graham.

I have a set of track cans for sale in the classifed but I may hav to change my plans as it looks like the one can with two uses may not be as easy as first thought.

Thanks. I dont want to be the guinea pig so I am holding off with tim at ACT as Powertech are also offering to make me some. I just want to know if the factory ones are fully sleeved as any replacements that are straight through wont make anymore noise.

Factory ones are fully sleeved as standard at least they are on mine and a couple of others ive looked at.

The factory cans on mine are sleeved apart from approx the last 20mm which is perforated.

I add some new cans made up fully sleeved and they are definitely louder.

Ditto. I had rear centre box replaced with straight-through pipes to get more volume. Now v.loud.

had exactly the same,then went for decats as well, now decats and special 4 pipe exits and now pops and bangs alot, sounds awesome and spits flames out all 4 :P

So where did you get your straight through pipe replacements for the back box supercrispy? I'm thinkin of de-catting mine for more noise as I don't want to change from the standard cans so the straight through's sound like another option. Or have both done of course
