Crowthorne troubles

Crazy. It just goes to show that you should not try to sort out these kind of problems yourself. If the hoodies don't stab you in the front. the law will stab you in the back.
Be warned, don't take the law into your own hands if you don't know how it works...............Contact the people who are trained in these matters........There are new vigilante groups forming in every town!

At the risk of being flamed, he stabbed a kid in the chest with a letter opener!
The article makes no comment on the severity of his step-son's injuries, and so we have no way of guaging the circumstances. Whatever else, his return to the house to find a weapon suggests significant thought about what he intended.
I would suggest that there is more to this than has been published...

who along with 4 of his pissed up mates was kicking the s
te out of his son........I'd have done exactly the same as him, or should he have waited for the police to turn up 3 hours later, or even worse wait for an ambulance to take his dead kid away. What he should have done however was drag him on to his property and then beaten him to an inch of his life (whilst using reasonable force obviously.) Self defence and all that!
While I don't condone him stabbing anyone, if the little s
te hadn't have been there, his lung would still be fit for purpose.
Maybe justice will be done and he'll get MRSA ?

Kicking someone multiple times in the head whilst they are laying defenseless on the floor is as good as attempted murder in my eyes. The article makes no comment on the severity of his step-son's injuries, and so we have no way of guaging the circumstances. If the father had intervened without a weapon they could have set about him in a bad way too. Having said that, confronting them with a knife/letter opener could have gone very wrong if they had managed to get ahold of it.
At the end of the day, you don't know how you would react until you are in that situation. If I saw a loved one being beaten up, I sure as hell wouldn't care about the attackers well being.

Don't mistake what I am saying, I don't condone any of the groups actions. I just think that we don't have the whole story...
Nice neighbourhood eh?
My daughters know some of those involved. Naturally the story "on the street" differs somewhat from the newspaper report. Its easy to pass judgement, but why do these cowardly little s
ts always have to outnumber their victims. As a lad we all used to get into scraps, but always one on one... and no knives.
Its a bit of a worry when its right on your doorstep.
Great advice Dean, baseballhat bat on order.
