Without disclosing too much info!!! What do you guys have in the way of security. I dont have the luxury of a garage so mine is on the drive at night. Currently I have:
1) An ignition barrel
2) QR steering wheel
3) A hidden fuel pump switch and was thinking of:

1) Getting a good bike scurity chain to go through a rear wheel and round a chassiss member (to stop the wheel from turning)
2) Or \ and putting that on the front and getting a custom removable gear stick and leave it in gear.

Then that takes alot of work and time to get it moving. Yes 6 hefty men could pick it up or drag it but would with any car. Just dont want it going walkies too easyly. Thoughts would be appreachiated! I can also use a combination of these when out and about. A ground anchor is last resort. No good when your out and about.

Any security you are thinking of needs to be to prevent it been "taken" away rather than driven away if that makes any sense ?

Cars like this are stolen for breaking rather than selling on whole, they are comparatively rare and distinctive compared to the run of the mill car making them difficult to move complete.

Theft is pretty rare aside from the odd one you here about which always appears to be stolen to order for parts rather than opportunistic.

A towing eye on front (always handy on track or just plain old bling ?) secured to a post in the floor bit like people do with caravans ?

eta after reading your post again personally I think you have enough security on there for out and about, its parked up at home you need to look at.

Have a chat with the people at Almax - http://www.almax-security-chains.co.uk/

Get a ground anchor bolted with expanding bolts and chemical cement or set into cement under the car and attach an Almax chain and their top padlock to it and pass it around a piece of the chassis or rear axle.

Do it in such a way that the chain is off the ground, well under the car so a thief can't use tools to break it without crawling under the car and a large sledge hammer can't be swung into action.

Doesn't matter if a pikey can't start the engine, they just attach a rope to it and pull it off your drive then up onto the back of a truck/trailer. The only way to stop that is to physically bolt the car down.

I agree with you all. I thought I might need something. The only difference is that I think I would be hard pushed to tow it out. My road is barely wide enough for one car. Opposite is a house with a sizeable drive but there is often cars parked on it. All my neighbours know to keep an eye out, they are all bikers!! Hoping just a chain around the wheel stopping it rolliing and not being able to steer would be enough!

I have been parking my BECs for 6 years, sometimes in some proper dodgy places!!! Never been touched, scratched, vandalised or stolen. My old Furyblade had an FiA masterswitch, this one nothing except the ignition key and a red "arm" switch for the ignition. If I have to leave it somewhere dodgy I park it up in 6th gear. If a little Chav thief can work out how the hell to drive it down the road, he can have it. Mind you, the clutch is so terrible on it like all BECs , he'd be Kangarooing an stalling for hours, or he'd dump it after 5 minutes because of the bloody racket and clonking it makes!!!! ;-)

I do the same . . . and take the paddle-shift along with the steering-wheel.

Although I have proven that you can steer OK with a pair of vice-grips hehe

My car is currently where it's always parked, which is out side on my drive with the handbrake on and in 1st or 2nd gear, as I can't remember if I pushed or pulled the lever when I sheeted her up. If I park it in town I may get the steering wheel lock out and put it on, but only as it should prevent kids from sitting in it. That's it.
