Stopping radio eco mode on a 407. can it be done?
Discussion
Beofore I get a can of petrol and torch the frigging car. I hate being late so I get to meetings early. This means I have to sit there with the car running because if not the radio turns off after about a minte.
And its doing my box in.
Any ideas
And while we are at it can the not wearing your seat belt beep be turned off. In the mondeo all I had to do was press the seat belt release button once and it would shut up.
cheers

These go into eco mode when the battery voltage falls below a certain level, if it's doing it that soon, I would think there must be another problem like a poor battery or something draining it.
Battery problem? maybe the car is only 1 year old though. Will get it checked out cheersEdited by Pesty on Tuesday 28th July 20:12
Had a Citroen C8 a few years back and had the same problem. It all came to light when trying to listen the Radio Le mans at the circuit while the kids were sleeping in the back, damn anoying feature IMO as radio is not going to drain the battery even if on for a few hours. Whats worse on another occasion with the same car, one of the heated seats got accidently swtiched on while we were sitting in it once and did drain the frigging battery as there was no ECO mode for that one which if there had of been, would have been a far more useful feature.
