Finance Guarantor

On my first proper 'mine' car, i was required to seek a guarantor for the finance (circa £10k) as I had just started a new job. Having paid all installments effortlessly and never defaulted (owned car for 2 years), what do you think the chances of needing a guarantor for finance on a circa £20k car would be?

depends if you're income, credit score and history are deemed apt.

Depends on how the underwriter is feeling on the day.

To be honest it's unusual to ask for guarantors these days, other than for directors guaranteeing facilities for their own Ltd Co's.
