Building inspector, Clerk of works wanted in Suffolk. Urgent
Discussion
I currently work for the MOD through an agency, inspecting new build houses from the foundations through to pre-handover inspection.
We are desperately looking for a B&CE inspector to work alongside me & another M&E colleague.
The work involves amongst other things, visiting site daily, filling in a site diary, checking complience with the fire regulations (fire doors, wall construction etc), checking milestone payments, & inspections for handover of the properties.
It's 37 hours a week & pay is negotiable, but you can expect around £32K if you haggle. (I didn't tell you that bit)
with 5 weeks annual leave,& it's not hard work.
You will have to be security cleared ( this can be done once you've started) & apply for/have a CSCS card.
Any takers please PM me first & I'll let you know who to contact or where to send applications.
The contract is a rolling 12 Month (I've been here since 2001) & is set to end in Late 2011.
