Following on from my request for info on speed, I now need to source some nice Nissan decals for a 1:10 scale bodyshell, but they need to be big enough to be clearly seen from a distance.

I can't give too much away but I'm being filmed and therefore the car's stickers need to be clearly visible. I had thought about going the vinyl cutting bespoke route, but had hoped to get off the shelf decals as our budget is limited.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I'd have thought getting the whole body painted with 'Nissan' or in Nissan style would have been preferable to decals or stickers?

The bodyshell will be the new GTR so it's a road car rather than racing car. It will be painted white and I was looking to have large NISSAN typography down the sides.

I think I may be source a vinyl cutting guy through a friend of mine, so we might be sorted, but thanks anyway.

Just thinking that it is going to look very small compared to the real thing and unless you're going for the exact RC replica look (bit like one of the Oceans 11,12,13 films) then making it stand out might be better.

It's not something I've ever attempted to paint so would not offer to take it on, but do have experience of getting things to show up in difficult/different circumstances.

Good luck!

Might have misunderstood what you want, but could you make your own waterslides?

This is the look I'm going for:

So the logo should be big enough to see...

I've got a guy doing me some vinyl graphics so we should be OK now, thanks it's only for a few hours so they should be fine for the shoot
