Warhammer online - age of reckoning
Discussion
Tier 1 (lvl 1-11) is by far the most enjoyable aspect. Me and a mate had a laugh in the RvR zones.
Then T2 arrives, and you get excited about Keep sieges, which just turns out to be a massive lag-fest of dissapointment. Practically no one does any PvE stuff, so you just end up grinding keeps for the next 30 levels. The fact that its far more rewarding to attack an empty keep before they show up to defend it (due to badly designed keeps) means you spend most of the time avoiding the enemy.
Once you get to level 30, and get into T4, the novelty really has worn off, especially when you get annihilated by top-geared level 40's in all aspects of RvR. I quit about level 33, I think.
I'm a big fan of the Warhammer universe, so I'm just a bit bitter about how they've managed to cock the whole thing up. Terrible design decisions without any real signs of improvement since launch means I'm penning this to slowly die a death.

My experiences echo what the other guys said, I found tier 1 to be the best, and after that the pace tails off and it becomes a bit of a grind feat. I did persevere and got to about LVL 32. However i came back from a training course and found that my guild had disbanded so at that point I called it a day.
It's a shame as the game has some good ideas, most of them are poorly executed thought.

Tried it on release, got to level 37 and was sick of the constant avoid the enemy rather than fight, compounded by every pvp encounter being the same - electromagnet & aoe or chaos rift & aoe. The pve trying to level up was daft as I ended up being spread across the 3 storylines.
oh, and not forgetting public quests with their completely borked contribution ratings which were nonetheless fun for the first week, but then everyone was too spread out and you could never complete them
