Gents,

i've spent a week following this thread:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I was/am the worlds biggest cynic but have been observing the above thread.. Now...

you know you have those times where one person helping wont make a difference but a few of us might be able to make a difference save a life (without getting over dramatic)

I'm not going to start rattling the charity box, its not really my thing.. but I did think, here is an occasion where as a one off can we all do something to get the chap back on his feet and at least something positive we could make a difference.

I realise there are a million cases like this BUT this is the one that got me.

Vmax wont be back until later in the year.. I'm trying to get a paypal donation system set up, i'm not talking about making Toggs a millionaire but a few quid will really help him & if the fund does happen to grow large then the remainder will go to charity.

Anyway, anyone who donates name will go into hat for free place at vmax & free lunch there (although you may wish not to take the last part biggrin )

Thanks for looking guys & gays.

Craig

Craig,

Count me in. Will keep a lookout once account etc is set-up. I am a sceptic also, but would like to be able to help this guy and his son out, he's been on here long enough to be supported.

Jules.

Not a VMaxer (look at my car. It's a wafter, not a sprinter) but I've chucked a few shekels in the pot.

Sent from me too.

@Craig - Any chance of taking up that offer of a free spot at the next Vmax? I know it's been a little while since I was last around. New engine ready and correct for going bang :P

Hi,
I'm new to the forum but not Pistonheads - bought 2 cars off it!
Have heard about the legendary VMAX and had a few questions:
what's up with the father & son?
do they own the airfield?
how much is it to participate?
can non-supercars, i.e. an Evo 6, take part?
when's the next one?

thanks in advance to anyone that can be bothered to answer so many questions in one post!!
