FYI - For those that haven't opened thier mail yet, I just got an email saying the M600 would be revealed to deposit holders in advance of its public unveiling at the end of August. Finally light at the end of the tunnel!

And apparently the body is different from all the spy shots - which sounds good as the current body isn't that pretty ...

I thought that it looked pretty average in terms of beauty, but then I assumed it just had very basic paint job and that it would look much better all polished up, possibly in a different colour to matt black hehe.

TBH I'm more bothered about how it goes rather than how it looks, although my poor poor wallet would give up altogether if I even thought about buying one weeping

That's great news, I was never a fan of the M14. It looked dated when it was originally 'released' let alone 6 years later!

Yes, but it's the same for the M12/400...and who gives a flying kcuf what it looks like having just driven it? biggrin

Yep. Completely agree.
I don't even bother cleaning mine any more - I don't find it goes any faster smile.

Was it good? Was it? Was it? bounce

Does anyone know exactly when and where the public unveiling is going to be held?

I may have to take a day off work for this.

One of the bigger car mags has it this week (I cannot say who, I promised) they'll be doing a multi page spread.
As to the public unveilling, no idea!

I don't think that I am breaking any confidences in saying that the public/press launch is 19th and the unveiling to those on the waiting list (who should have/will be receiving a letter/email as reported by the OP) is the day before ie 18th.

I've got the letter and off to a photo shoot for a certain magazine tomorrow morning with the M400 for a bit of a prelude I expect.

As I've said all along though, I'll reserve judgement until they tell me the price and I drive it.

So what does that mean, exactly? Completing the FINAL PROTOTYPE...! Another year or so of testing before release or clumsy wording?

My understanding is that it is worded correctly, in that the body has changed and hence they need to finalise the final production prototype before tooling up for production.

Given we are nearly in September it's going to be a 2010 car at best it seems.

I ask myself again, what does Noble mean by "launch".

All my conversations with Peter have revolved around the statement "We will not launch until we're happy we've done the best job we can."

So I think/hope that in this case Launch means Launch.

invitation today talks of "pre-launch preview of our new supercar". The launch is the next day to press/public.
