Castle Combe - Race length Confirmation

Geoff Has had it confirmed by Drew ( Race Director) at BRSCC this morning that we have


1 * 15 Min Qualifying session
2 * 20 Min Races

Some of the paperwork has already gone out and incorrectly shows 10 lap races, Please Ignore this as the durations have been confirmed as above.

BRSCC have booked and paid for 2 x 10 lap races. Since TVR's are a crowd favourite, lap times are fairly quick, and because John Reid and I go back a long way I agreed to his request to increase the race distances to 20 minutes. Hopefully a few more entries will be forthcoming and you will put on a good show for our spectators and TVR Car Club members who have taken a display area with us next weekend.

That's great news after the false drama of the previous 36 hours.
I might even be competitive at CC after discovering why my Griff was only firing on 6 or at best 7 cylinders last weekend - 2 plug lead terminals were broken at the dizzy cap + dizzy cap connectors to leads all corroded. Ordered a new Lucas cap + spare just in case!
