I've logged my console to be repaired on the Xbox website, but they appear to waiting for me to pack it up and arrange for UPS to collect it. I was under the impression that they sent you a box to put it in - is this the case? I can't see anything that refers to this on my repair status.

nope, its not very often you get a free box (hehe)
Have you printed the label off?
Should be a UPS label, which then makes you arrange a pick up date and time, stick the label on, and wait 2-3 weeks.

Surely Microsoft must have lost shed loads of money having to do this with every bloody console.

Keep the box they return it to you in - that way you'll have it to hand when you need to send it back again! biglaugh

The UPS guy who returned mine said "See you again in 6 months...." when he dropped my repaired 360 back! wink

I'm not sure what reading has to do with this.

Yeah I know I'm just moaning, but given that it's only 18 months old I want an MS employee to come to my house personally, take my broken machine and apologise profoundly while I take my anger out by beating him with a iron rod.
