Still searching for a DB9 Volante

I can’t believe how difficult it is to source a 2 to 3 year old car.

I know I am being very specific – Meteorite or Mercury with black or grey leather (and my perfect car would have piano dash, red stitching and callipers)

In three months of trawling main dealers and classifieds there has not been a single car meeting my spec. However a couple of cars have just come to the market that nearly hit the mark (no red bits though)

Interestingly prices seem to have risen since I seriously started looking, but many of the cars are the same cars that were around 3 months ago.

It also doesn’t help looking for a convertible in Summer!!!

However – if anybody does see or hear of anything about to come to the market, please let me know.

Hi andy don't stress, if you want i can let you have a few contacts who may be able to help,

secondly ref the spec, the interior trim can be changed to piano black as can the calipers to the red ones, so if you get a car at the right price this could be an option to get her just the way you want, unfortunately the red stitching would be an issue, the old calipers can be sold to the lads on the sxoc (nissan sx owners club) they use these as an upgrade for there brakes,

i am sure as always the right car will turn up.

If any of your contacts have or hear of anything, please pass my details on.
I knew I would be able to change all but the stitching, but know that in the past I have never got round to changing parts on cars once I have bought them – so will wait until exactly the right car for me comes along.
As you say – they always do eventually! (It is just rather frustrating)
