Any of you perturbed by the english weather ? I personally dont like getting the ole girl wet , but once in a while wont hurt !

A bit of the wet stuff wont spoil the fun. Starting to get used to it now but with a bit of luck it won't last all day.

Mine lived outside for 18months and is used almost daily and it's still praised as being a good looking car.

I'll be there, obviously, but who the hell has pissed off the weather gods to this extent?

Since when have the weather men been right, they said we was going to have an Indian summer and now they have chaned there minds.
The Griff Growl is only on once a year, TVRs don't disolve in the rain and neither do thier owners, if you planed to go before then don't let the weather put you off, just think about the organisers, they won't be canceling just because it may rain.
It will be good no matter what the weather but even better if it is sunny.

I wish I could get you some sun. At this time of the year it should be no problem but living in England we should be used to not letting the weather bother us, it's the organisers I feel for when they put everything in to organise an event for the enthusiast and that they my be put off by water.

Yes It would be better if it was dry and sunny but will people realy NOT come just because of some rain?? Christ even the train spotters will stick on the sow-wester and wellies to see Thomas The Tank Engine pass by.

I will be there about 10:00 as I have the rolling road booked for 10:30 WHATEVER the weather

All change.
It is hammering down here (near East mids airport), very very dark (like night), very windy and thundering. You would have thought there can't be a lot more up there after the last week or so.

Anyone doing anything similar this year.

Based on the current weather forecast, my itinerary is;
Sat AM Drive down in the nice weather, see who I can before it rains.
Sat PM Retire to the Griffith Technical Forum breakout session (bar) when it rains because I'm not getting wet AGAIN,

Sun AM Griffith Hangover Club meeting in the dining room (Breakfast)
See who is around to kick tyres with in the sunshine
Sun PM A leisurely drive home with the roof down.
