LPG conversion

has anyone considered or carried out an LPG conversion to an e39 528i as i am seriously thinking about this to reduce running costs. I have looked at availability of LPG in my area, pay back time,residual value improvements etc but would feel more confident if any one has had this work done and has experience of running the system. thanks. pete.c

I'm considering it, need to sell the Passat. There's a guy (johnnyteng) on BMWLand who's had it done:
