hi

i have owned my 328 sport now for 2 weeks and i have noticed that when pulling away in gear the car shudders a bit until u get going after 2 seconds etc. i have also noticed that when slowing down in gear it does the same until you engaged the clutch then it goes and it sometimes makes a brief whirling noise when you take out or gear also the clutch seem heavy but the biting point is at the floor and never slips?

any ideas ?

Clutches do feel heavy on E36's. How many miles has yours done?

14 E36's? that's 5 more than me!

I've never had any clutch trouble even on high milers (highest was 210k on a 320i) could be a slave cyliner, thrust bearing or something?
