Pirbright Bends Meet - August 15th

So... Following a post about the infamous 'Bends', I'm taking it upon myself to organise a meet for all those who live in the area and know/enjoy that stretch of road, and also because i haven't yet organised or attended a local meet and it would be good to meet and have a pint with some of you local SAS regulars.
Therefore, i'm thinking Saturday 15th August would be a good date, possibly going for a bit of a hoon through the bends and then meeting for a beer and possibly some good grub at the White Hart on Pirbright green (past the village hall - pub on the corner). I'm thinking 8:00pm as this will allow for those eating etc before hand.
I'll start the list off. Dependant on the numbers and if people want to eat, i'll call the White Hart and confirm that they are able to accomodate. Giv me a shout if anyone has any better suggestions regarding date/time, although i think the pub itself should be to most people's liking.

Ah, thats a shame. Unless its changed to the Sunday evening instead, although i'm not sure whether people would prefer the saturday or sunday evening.ETA: seems as though most have stated Saturday. May just have to organise another one some other time for people who can't make this one.

Is it worth changing this to a week day night? Would the people who have already added themselves to the list be happy if this was changed? Could be changed to the 17th (Monday night) instead, if it's easier for everyone? Let me know and i'll see about amending the title of the post etc.

From Pirbright, the Bends start from Gole Road, which is the left turn just before the tunnel leading to Brookwood.Its about 2.5 miles through the MOD land up towards Deepcut and Frimley Green. There are a few turn-offs to go towards Mytchett and they are just some great enclosed tree-lined roads. If you fancy coming to the meet, i'm sure some of us will probably be going that way or wanting to have a quick hoon through them.
I agree with the comments on it getting in the way of Saturday beerage. But since I really ought to make more of an effort to get out the house, I'll put in a provisional

I'll remember this for any future plans for a follow-up. I know when trying to plan these things, its difficult to gauge the best time for everyone, but i do agree that Saturdays can get in the way of worthy drinking time!
Hopefully though the plan for Saturday will work this time and it would be great to meet as many of the local PHers as possible! (Particularly you Jon, if you have a Sag.. I might be sitting in the car-park for the evening)

Can't do Tuesdays. Mondays and Wednesdays are OK as long as it's before 6pm or after 5pm. Thursdays I have whittling class. Fridays and Saturdays are do-able as long as I have the thumbs-up from my mental healthcare worker.
Actually I jest (but not about Tuesdays). If it gets rescheduled and I can't make it, I'll catch you lot at the next one. I'm sure it won't be the first & last.
