Immigration rules are a drain on the country, says Judge Ian Trigger

"In remarks made while sentencing an illegal immigrant for drugs offences, Judge Trigger told Liverpool Crown Court that “hundreds and hundreds of thousands” of illegal immigrants were abusing Britain’s border controls.

He said this was “creating an enormous strain on resources” as they exploited Britain’s generous welfare system. The result, he said, was a growing hole in the public finances."

My mate is in the Police and he told me how the dictat from above was that if, theoretically, any illegals arrived at a Police station to "hand themselves in" the incident was NOT to be recorded and the immigrants should simply be given directions to the nearest immigration office...

And then NuLabia suddenly had a panicked realisation of how many nutters, murderers and radicals this policy might allow to slip into Blightly unnoticed. rolleyes

The policy bought about the macarbe possibility that genuine refugess - due to political persecution, war, genocide etc. - could arrive here and end up living with the very criminals they had hoped to escape.

I'm not sure you meant what you put wink

I'd love to know where he gets his figures from, as the government doesn't know quite how many illegal immigrants there are.

Yea, I know, top marks for a Judge to say it though, no doubt he will be sweeping the streets shortly once he has undergone a council rectification and diversity process for quoting the bleeding obvious.

Ha ha, I spent a good few seconds trying to work out if what I writing was what I was thinking, Doh! smile

Maybe I've have already been council diversity re_educated without me knowing.

Edited to add it still looks wrong, what I am saying is I agree with the Judge

yes but our home grown scum is a far bigger drain and as a judge if he starting punishing our own brand with something a bit more unpleasant then having to sit on the naughty chair for 5 minutes then we might not be so deeply in a sthole

Nope. It takes a LOT more than that to get rid of a judge. That's the doctrine of separation of powers for you (though the same doctrine tends to inhibit judge's criticisms of the state).
