What component to replace CD player?

I want to keep my Technics receiver, but want to convert all my CD's onto a digital format so I can stop having to burn CDs whenever I download a song I want to hear, not on the PC.
I've done a quick search, but no joy on this subject. Guess I'm using the wrong content words...
