Al,

I know that as a moderator one of your tasks in clearing up useless and pointless threads accross the fora, and moving them around when they don't fit where they have been placed.

But why was this thread closed?

All I wanted was a thread of interesting but useless facts - little bits of information people may have that are of interest to some (but obviosuly not all)

I know it wasn't the most high-brow of topics, but lets face it 90% of the topics in the lounge aren't.

I didn't see that it was hurting anyone or anything? If i'd have titled it differently - maybe "The interesting topics thread" woudl it have lasted a little longer?

Just wondering.

ps: The response i'm expecting is "it was going to be a thread of useless facts, therefore the thread would be useless.
