Why is it that whenever I get to sort out, change or upgrade the stereo I come accross "toss pot ICE ltd"?
I have no confidence in any ICE dealer as they all call me "mate" and whenever I buy anything I have to go back twice to get all the bits. Young boys go in the shop and push in front of me in the queue. I dont hit them because I am happy I am in working on my car mode, but they buy huge speakers for a 5p car? Then the people that work there. They do stuff like use a brake pipe/master cylinder junction to make an earth connection and then wonder why the brakes don't work? AAAHHHHHHHHH When tackled they call me mate and proudly declare this is good practice (Now I want to do my duty and kill them to improve the gene pool). All I really wand is a CD changer and a cassette player and a radio. So they talk about MP3 and DAB and then they want me to take my car and
it up with massive amplifiers and when you ask for a Speaker cable they say "What car is it for?" This is asked not because they care or they are all custom but they want you to say Porsche then they can do suck thingy and shake their stupid fat head and try and charge you 10 times the price now I want to kill them again cos its just a speaker cable ....... Sorry, rant over.

My CD player has just packed up. Porsche says I was lucky to get 10 years out of it (Standard Blaupunkt)It was mounted on the cardboard floor (over the spare) in my 993`s front boot.
It allways jumped, everytime I hit a pothole or speed bump, then it just jumped for a last time into oblivion!
It was married to a Blaupunkt head unit and the Porsche standard speakers. Who has a good reccommendation for replacement of the lot? I had a nice pair of Boston Accoustic speakers in my Carrera 3.2, they just relaced the standard speakers looked really understated but gave a bit more base.
Reccommendations please?
