Any recommendations on where to get a PPI

I am in the process of looking at Gallardo's. Can anyone recommend a good company that can do pre purchase inspections.

I am based between Southampton and Portsmouth. But the car I go for may be anywhere in the country. I am not sure how these things work. Would I find a car, then employ a company to go where the car is being sold? I dont want to part with cash until an inspection has been done, so cant take the car anywhere for an inspection.

Usually, you find the car and then locate a local dealer/specialist. The car really should go to their premises so that they can get it on a ramp etc. A serious and genuine seller should have no objection to this.

Ok, thanks. So I could find the car I like and say that I will have it subject to a clean bill of health from an inspection. But if anything is amiss from the inspection you put it right before we complete on the deal.

I used Graham at High Wycombe Lamborghini - they kindly did it FOC - whilst he did not do a full PPI, it helped me to understand what may be wrong and what it may cost etc. All I wanted to know was if the engine was about to full off or the clutch was on its last legs - and I got assurances on both of these- enough to make me buy it.
