I have searched most of the major high street retailers but cannot find a wallet.

The spec

It needs to be made of thin and light material so its not bulky. i.e soft black leather will do it.

I need an ID card slot and slots for 3 credit cards.

I only one that ones that fold once - the ones that fold twice become too bulky.

Something like this would be ideal - the only peroblem is that it doesn't have a slot at the top for notes - obviously notes would need folding to fit in but that isnt a problem as I hardly ever carry more than 1 note.

size wise i don't wnat anything much bigger than a credit card sized wallet liek above

key is something minimal is size and weight

anyone have something similar to what I want and know where i can buy from ?

I got my current one in Selfridges, eventually. It always takes quite a bit of time looking as I'm as finicky about them as you seem to be.

Ask a hoodie; I'm sure he can get you a good one.

Had the same requirements and got one from Jenners in Edinburgh, which is a House of Fraser. Guess a department store would be your best bet.

I got mine from, shockingly, Sainsbury's - lightweight black leather, one fold, clear window for ID card on one side and three card slots on the other, plus two open compartments for notes. Or is Sainsbury's a bit too low rent?

My current hugo boss wallet would match your requirements, may be worth checking out the HB website.

Got mine from Oliver Sweeney. They seem to have a pretty decent range.

if you dont want a silly tarty name embossed on it have a look in marks and sparks. £20-25 for a seemingly pretty good quality one, just given one for my b-day earlier this week, its quite nice.

been there
and debenhams and next and bhs and some other big chain stores.

my only hope is either buy online or goto the kind of bigger stores we dont have in this city - like selfridges etc.

to the other poster, i have lots of supermarkets around here inc sainsburys but i have never seen them sell wallets.

Sorry, mate, but Mont Blanc aren't exactly known for 'low cost'. I'd have a wild stab at £75, but it could easily be more. Try a google search for vendors...

Very nice. I saw the next size up (my preference) on offer, and decided to think about it. When I went back the offer was over and they wanted £100 for it. Bought a Ted Baker for £50 that I still like. No secret naked ladies, though. frown
