Looking for standard back box for a Scoob (near Edinburgh)

Hi Folks,

Hoping someone can help here. I need to get a standard back box for my classic Subaru Impreza. Anyone out there upgraded (and now have a old back box clogging up their garage)?

I'm based in Edinburgh but happy to drive (!) within reason....

Why standard? Insurance? If it's just a backbox it won't provide any power increase so shouldn't affect premium. IIRC the standard Subaru items are mild steel whereas most aftermarket are stainless steel which should last longer.

In April when I changed my standard backbox for an aftermarket jobbie the Subaru part was £30 more!

If your not already get onto SIDC and ask on there, loads of lads in scotland, surely one of them will have one?

If not let me know model, year etc and I'll have a poke around for you?

I'd probably have one depending on version etc.. But i'm over in Ireland and cost of shipping alone is probably more than you want to spend?

I want a standard one because my wife is going to be driving the car more than I and it's her preference ;-).
