I ordered currency from my bank for my holiday. Just opened it up and it's $200 in travelers cheque and not cash as I expected.

Question is, can I use a US travellers cheque at an airport in the UK and exchange them for dollars? Or does it have to be done at a bank in the US?

If it was their mistake then send them back, to be changed. You'll get stiffed on comission and poor exchange rates.

If it was yours and you're keeping the cheques then don't try changing them in the UK. (You'll get stiffed .....etc). Change them at your destination for a slightly less chance of being stiffed.....etc.
