Disco II headlights on a Disco I 300 TDi

My trusty Disco I 300 TDi has a badly misted up offside headlight, so I'm thinking I might replace both at the same time for an 'as new' look across the front.

I've heard that the headlights off the early Disco II's (same shape as the Disco I but with the black surround) are a direct replacement and shed more light on the road. Is this true, and if so how much can I expect to pay for a pair?
