Battery Replaced - Now It still won't start!!
Discussion
Thanks to all the suggestions on my last post (31.07)
So having purchased:
Solar Charger
New Battery
Waterproof cigaretter ligher for exterior charging
About 4 hrs and a very bruised arm the new battery is in, with the original 3 leads to each terminal the car turns over nicely.... but.. It doesn't fire up.
Doesn't jump or bump start either.
I checked the fuses in the car, above the battery (incl 80A) an dall are OK.
Could it be an airlock in the fuel as a result of jacking it up?
Any more words of wisdom from my fellow Noblers?
Thanks all
Ben

The pump is priming as far as I can tell (whirring for 3 secs or so).. i found this post earlier today:

So I'm going to take a look at the starter relays and at a potential airlock in the fuel pipe.
The concern is that it didn't bump start.. to me thats a spark or fuel issue..
Cheers

You've picked up on my non-starting thread here.
My problem was that the car didn't turnover at all, unlike where you are now. If its turning over OK I'd suggest you leave the starter relay to last. Sounds more like an ignition or fuel problem. Have you checked out the ignition circuit and relays in the front passenger footwell?
