How much did Picadors charge ?

Following from another thread about starter/bellhousing fitment.

Are there 2 types of starters ??

I have one here thats a spare. If you're stuck, I could sort something out assuming its the same fitment.

Any pics of yours ? or a part number

by claim I meant said, not like claiming to own the crown jewells when you dont, I just meant you said you had a huge cam. Surely that cant be easy on the starter?

You mean spring compression? Dont forget they are helping as well by pushing down at the same time. Compression makes it hard to crank and a large cam would bleed compression especially at lower rpm. I imagine Brummie's engine has reasonably high compression to counter that, maybe 11.5+?

Yep bang on 11.5:1 like already said, compression forces will actually be lower due to valves being open longer, i customized the compression chambers when i upgraded to LS3 block, i had to take metal out otherwise comp ratio would've been through the roof!

Little bit of valve unshrouding and porting went on too wink

Just ordering a new auto box and a starter from Holmart. It's coming sea freight so won't be there in time.

What are they costing over here. If expensive I might bring a few in?
