I drove the Monaro for the first time at night last night (was wet too making it extra fun) and I was a bit disappointed with the headlights. OK, rather if I didn't see the reflection on another car I'd have sworn they were off! The main beam I found to be pretty good so I was just looking at changing the dipped beam lights. From the bit of research I did I think this would fit, is this correct? It's sold in a pack of 2, so I assume 1 pack would be OK?

How easy are the bulbs to change. Bearing in mind my mechanical knowledge on cars is pretty none existent!

Thanks in advance!

Yeah Right...

or

You've obviously had to work on some hellish motors then.......

To change the bulbs, you need hands like a child and remove the battery fixing bolt and move battery out of the way and remove the fan guard from top of rad.
Not a 2 min job...
Get some main beam bulbs for the dipped and do the conversion..... its well worth it, even for the scraped knuckles......!

Didn't have to move the battery on mine. Fan cover was simple and quick too. Must be an advantage having hands like a girl.

I have the Osram bulbs on my car, and the adjusters are cranked up as high as the MoT man will allow; the result is much improved over standard.

Fitting was easy - I gave the bulbs to my brother and not long after they were in! The battery had to be moved, but he does not have the daintiest hands in the world.

I ordered myself some Night Breakers off eBay, and another makes H9 bulb for the main beam. Had a look at fitting them myself yesterday. The main beam bulbs look quite easy, and the passenger side dipped beam too, but the whole moving the battery about lark looks to be a right pain so I'll hand them to a man at a garage to do at the same time he looks at my worn track rod end sometime soon.
