Hi , just bouight a Tamora

Having read through pages and pages of useful stuff on the site forum re TVR's finally took the plunge and bought our TVR last week.
Was looking for a car I could enjoy driving with my wife and which hopefully will be a keeper. Wanted a TVR for 20 years or so, and with events of the last few years felt I should get on with it. Started off thinking about Griffith, moved to early Tuscan, fell in lust with T350, and then finally after some test drives found the Tamora a really great drive. Huge grins after the test run out and we were smitten.....
04 reg in titanium with 12k on the clock. Bought from HHC.
Things on my to do list are :
a)storage bag for the targa top
c)battery charger
c)dust cover for winter garage storage maybe
Any recommendations on the best solutions for the above appreciated.

well done that man, glad you are happy with your purchase, roof bag is a good idea as you will be using it a lot without the roof, trust me. dont be to keen to lay her (i trust its a her) up over winter as there are lots of roof off heater on opps in the winter months and they hate being not used.
and you will save on the battery charger if you use in winter too

What's best place to plug the trickle charger in do you think? Seems to be choice of adapter cable in the Anderson socket or via a cigarette lighter (not sure if Tam has one?)
Had planned to lay her up over winter but before the gritters get out there are some great biking days to be had so on balance there ought to be even more Tam days.

My Accumate is also wired into the boot, so just need to pull the mains plug out and all sorted. Failing that, believe the ciggy lighter is an option, or the Anderson connector.
As for bag, Leven bag is ok, Chim one is ok (as is mine), have found that is does scuff up easily though, had to add some tape to certain places because holes were starting to form. Not sure there are many alternatives though.
Good choice, you wont be disappointed, they are fabulous cars.

Hunter, I really haven't been around as long as TVR_owner; he's a bit like The Highlander in that he just sometimes changes his identity to disguise his immortality.
AND he knows a lot about TVRs (although he has a tendency to turn into a Grumpy Old Git at times

Welcome to the club.The cigar lighter is located in the cubby hole under the stereo. Faces back on itself.
It's a bit fiddly but is where I plug my accumate in. Accumates won't overcharge so shouldn't need a timer.
We will, of course, require pictures as soon as you pick her up.
