AMCO, who's entry to the 2010 F1 championship, has complained to the EC about the FIA requiring all new entrants to use Cosworth engines

Hmmm, glad to see that somebody is willing to step up and challenge the rediculous nature of the FIA's selection process, however this really isn't what F1 needs at the moment.

Indeed. But at least it might sharpen the mind of Mosley's successor.

The problem is that the conclusion of EU's last investigation into the FiA's dealings was scathing. they were given a 'last worning' sort of thing. It was expected that they would have got a heavy fine then but the leadership of the board changed and, for whatever reason, seemed willing to trust Mosley's integrity.

The EU have handed out tremendous fines in the past and might be cognascent of the £100 million handed out to a mere team.

But when the FiA is realing from the various '...gates' what we need is not another one.
