Where to get my transmission fixed?

Hi,
Took my old Trans Am to get MOT'ed yesterday, it's been SORN'ed for about 4 years so it was expected that it would have problems.
It drove there fine and passed but has subsequently dumped most of its' transmission fluid and now isn't changing gear properly, so I've probably cooked it.
It uses a TH700R4 3-speed + overdrive autobox, fairly common in cars of this age not just US ones.
Anyone recommend a garage for this sort of thing?
I Don't want to spend a £bagillion on getting it fixed as a reconditioned unit can be bought for under £400 (+ shipping)
