Autoroute reckons on 62 mils from Temple Way,Brizzle via Yeovil down the dreaded A37.

The coke last time I was in there was the tap stuff, however I will check later today when I am in Dorchester.

Not that you will want a motorway cruise (probably) but quickest is down M5, turn off at the Taunton junction and follw signs to Dorchester (some nice A-road bits but mostly too much traffic). Even if it's a short distance I'd allow about 2 hours if going when anything else will be on the road.

... will be working at Dorchester with moved project 2-3 days/week from beginning of next year (for a while) and family & main customer is in Bristol ... therefore have done most variants on travelling between Portsmouth, Dorchester and Bristol

The pub does not have a car park iirc. I suggest parking in the Top o' town car park and then a short walk down the high street to the pub.

Who's confirmed going to this other than Bob and Denny? Not sure wether to travel all this way as the map indicates the roads are crap and will take longer than I would usually take to cover 65 miles cross country.

I was well pi$$ed off. The Wimpy in Dorchester was shut as was McD, the chippy, curry house and even the kebab place by th time I went past. Had to raid the freezer when I got in. Now sobering up with some coke and water.
