Garden Vert Ramp Question
Discussion
Has anyone ever built a vert ramp or half pipe in their garden?
seeing as its made of wood, can you just build one on a whim, like with a garden shed ?
i have a 37' x 18' space that i 'could' in theroy build one eventually ( a garden )
would i be attacked by the local councils clipboard patrol ?
ETA : Bit of an extreme example... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_1Y8UoLIu4

Friend of mine builds modular ramps that can be packed away with ease.... he's a skater but would build something more bike specific i am sure

I guess the ppl next door wouldent really be bothered. as long as nobody was on it all hours of the day and night 24/7
the fence between the neibours on one side is low anyway, and on the other side, they just covered their garden in concrete years ago and have never been out there ever again lol.
thx for the link regarding a ramp builder. but i was really hoping to do this as a long term project and slowly build it up over time. ( i love a good project! )
but if im limited to 6ft in hight then so be it.
would rather have a 15ft vert though lol

This looked like a great little set-up....

Would have been fun taking it down and rebuilding though...

found some pretty decent plans

and it can also be added to to make it taller if needs be.

oooook then.
just popped down to the park to try out the 4ft half pipe thats just been built down there on my MTB.
i could barely drop in without crapping myself!
that would be absolutely no problem on my blades... hmm.
the flat of the half pipe was much too short for the mtb ( few inches longer than the whole bike )
so im guessing the bmx would ride it much better ( when i get one )
and finally... i dont sweat this much on a mtb ride. these half pipes are absolutely exhausting!
