Hi All,

I though that I should post sum pics of rebuild,it has taken longer than I thought. This has been because I have galvanised the chassis, made water pipes, and hinges in stainless. The item which I have made will be available to owners.

Will post more shortly.

Did you spray the chasis with galvanising paint or did you have the chasis dipped

Colour Starmist Blue, the chassis has been galvanised dipped. The water pipes are for a AJP 4.2 1998,from what I have seen there are two variants?.Have only made these pipes which I had pattern for like wise bonnet hinges. I still can not believe that a 10 year old car could have been so rotten. So this is the reason for all the hassle of making steel bits in stainless and stripping a good chassis of it original powder coat and galv dipping. The old chassis will be blasted and repaired then will go to be galv dipped and be offered on exchange service.
