Tuscan 2 S versus Sagaris 2007

They are similar in that they both have the characteristics of the Speed Six engine, they both smell of leather, glue and fibreglass, and they both go like stink.
There is not a huge difference between the later one's other than the obvious - open top vs coupe, boot vs rear hatch, subtle-ish looks vs hardcore looks, etc.
Personally, I'm not keen on the Tuscan seats - which incidentally are fitted to late Sag's. Therefore, I would go for an 05 or 55 Sag, just because I love the looks of it.
However, and notwithstanding the above, my favourite TVR out of all the one's I had is probably a Tuscan 2 3.6 coupe.
The thing about TVR's is common sense and normal logic can't really be used, you just have to drive them and see which one you bond with. The other thing is that you can drive one 06 Sag and not like it, drive another one and fall in love with it.
The best advice is to get out there, look and drive as many as you can before committing. You'll know when you've found the right one because it will just feel right

I've currently got both, although trying to sell my Tuscan 2S. In terms of a direct comparison - the power delivery is very similar (same engine), but the Sag feels more stable and much solider from a build perspective.
In terms of an all-round driving experience, then it's the Sag hands down. Not only does it drive and sound better, every time you get in it is a piece of theatre. Go on - you know you want to.
