After a trip to Helmingham Hall Festival of Sports cars (a superb event) there were a couple of things I noticed which perhaps the more knowledgeable can help me with please?

  • Gear stick nob/Handbrake gets hotter than before
  • My left foot got wet from the odd drip, feels like water? did rain the night before, but surely it would have evaporated after a whole day?
  • There's an odd intermittant clicking sound coming from what sounds like the driver footwell, but can't tell exactly.

Cheers guys

Not really expensive or difficult.

TVR Power have them

And it's a 2-person job to fit it (bolts are fiddly to get at).

Look up above the pedals and you'll see fluid weeping if the master cylinder is gone.

Actually if you search through topics I started you'll find a pic of a leaking one on there from about 18 months ago.

Is it most noticable when you go over bumps at slow speed? If it is I have the same, and I've had it since I got the car. I've had the brake disks, calipers, pads all off, replaced the suspension and it still does it. I'm wondering if its something to do with the front ARB? I know that everything is well attached and nothings cracked so I'm not going to worry too much about it. If you do get to the bottom of it let me know.

If your problem doesnt seem to be related to suspension movement it could be a relay clicking in the passanger footwell?

Sounds more likely, doesn't sound mechanical, what's it likely to be for?

The control box for the sterring wheel functions is located down there.
