Ant's is a 4.6 BTW.
Clives manifolds don't seem to be helping LG very much, are the other pair on that Howards 430? What manifolds were on the other 430's
No really storming numbers there,is development going backwards?
Howard's made 250hp before the manifolds, 25hp extra from the manifolds seems a good result to me. (it made slightly more here earlier in the year so maybe needs the filter cleaning or something?)Clives manifolds don't seem to be helping LG very much, are the other pair on that Howards 430? These were all flywheel figures, it seemed everyone was recording a low figure, the weather won't have helped here of course but I wonder if the dyno has had a slightyl different correction factor over last time?
Ant's car actually made 5hp more than i claimed for it
howard's about 10 less so I'm happy the results this year are there or thereabouts. Grovers car made exactly what it made here to the hp .Edited by spitfire4v8 on Monday 3rd August 13:08

TBF mine was seriously over-fuelling on the Saturday - the graph just flat-lined off the scale from about 1200 rpm. Removing and putting back the ECU, a 20 mile blatt and another run on Sunday removed the over-fuelling and improved my figure though not substantially.Clives manifolds don't seem to be helping LG very much, are the other pair on that Howards 430? CH also said the torque figures would be down compared with last year because they've changed where they pick up the RPMs which should make it more accurate, though lower than last year.

So boys, about these slower, less powerfull precats................
My first run was 276.0 bhp. (at the fly)So I've lost 0.8 bhp from last year - crisis!!!!

Standard griff 500
last year I had 95 unleaded in it

Can't comment on comparision to last years results, but from an "accuracy" perspective, if it helps, the HP figure obtained by my Jag on Saturday was almost exactly the same (0.375% higher) as the manufacturers specification.
My torque figure was roughly 5% higher than specified by Jaguar.

Just for information, when mine was on the rollers last year it was std shoot out bolt in and go and was actually very accurate to the expected levels from the builder and the datalogger read outs we have from racing.
So I wouln't expect them to be very far off at all.

An update on my figures then (Simon Holmes on the list). The car is a standard 500 SE with no engine mods bar the few bits done on the weekend.
Saturdays figure was 267 BHP at the flywheel with 320 lb torque.
Sunday mornings figure was 259 BHP with 310 lb torque, I fitted the ACT induction on Saturday afternoon which highlighted the car was running very lean (moreso once the kit was fitted). Simon Crazyhorse beleived there was far more to gain by sorting out the fuelling so Ian at Torque V8 kindly sold me and fitted his adjustable fuel pressure regulator, set it up on the rollers and finally I got 276.1 BHP and 325 lb torque. Third time lucky
Whats more the torque figure was above the 300 mark from 1900 rpm right up to 4800 rpm
I was amazed how much better the car drove on the way home too. I think I owe a big thanks to the Crazyhorses too for putting the car on the rollers (again) so late on Sunday afternoon when most had gone home, cheers guys
