Hi, just a quick question, was going a little fast yesterday on a road i dont know, went over a small hump directly onto another one and as a result the car bottomed, don't think it was too bad, just sounded it, it has bent the lip on the very first plate in the middle of the chassis but only the lip (approx 20mm long the dent) and this seems to be the only damage, is there anything else under there that i shoudl maybe look for?
Also my slave cylinder seals are leaking again, going to get them replaced soon. I can see the leek at the front of the gearbox (where the oil is dripping onto the floor between the first and second plate) but after the bump above, there seemed to be a patch of oil after the second plate attached to the chassis? could this just be the slave cylinder still?

Might be worth raising the suspension a tad, mine bottoms out if it's running low.
Its only done this once before and like I said wasnt really a bad clatter, more of a scrape which was on top of a slight mound, just mis-judged the road.I was more making sure there were no pipes or anything that cant be seen from lying on the ground.
Sounds familiar!!
I must have bottomed mine out at least 5 times in the last two months -
Whenever it happens you want to cry! It rattles every disc in my spine-
I should really get underneath to check for damage, but it's like checking your bank balance at the end of the month, Ignorance is Bliss!!!!

The only word of warning I have here is that once or twice I've seen the underneath of a Cerb where the oil pipe out the bottom of the sump is actually routed under the sump. Normally it seems to be tucked up out the way.
Check you haven't knocked this and are leaking oil from a potential disaster in waiting
