Hi guys, it's me again with yet another problem smile

I have a 97s1, i've owned the car for about 5 happy months. Whilst waiting in the car queue at the Silverstone Classic in July my car heated up to 127! I kid you not.

My knowledge on cars is zilch, i took a look at the fuse box and noticed that the cooling fan fuse had blown. I brought another one and waited for the car to heat up to 103- 105 to see if the fan would kick. This only resulted in another blown fuse.

What should i do?

The fan has siezed up (cheap bearing) so will keep blowing fuses.

It's a common problem and is a clam-off job to replace it frown

what he said, common problem especially if the fan get's sod all use...

Eliseparts sell replacement ones, but as said, it's a clam off job... (whist your there you might want to consider a new radiator too, if it's the original it's probably worth the effort)
